Simplicity 2603 - The Sleeveless Top - Part 2

Yesterday was mostly spent helping Rachael make a purse insert before second service. Since I'm required for supervision, I didn't get anything sewing-wise done for myself until after second and before third service.

Rachael's purse insert.

I did make a few changes to the top pattern. I taped the back yoke to the back piece.

I cut off the seam allowance along the armscye in front and back but taking out a bit more than 5/8" along the curve on the front.

I also cut the front out with the center front 1/4" from the fold of the fabric to give a few more gathers - I'm hoping this will take care of the drag lines that I had on my muslin.

That's it for yesterday. I should have the top finished today during Debra's nap and I even have enough fabric leftover to make a tank top.
