Howdy

I've returned! The girls and I came back this past Monday, and I've pretty much been trying to get ready for school. I haven't read any blogs in the last month and I'm kind of afraid to open up Google Reader and see how many posts are unread. :)

I thought that for the next few posts I'd show what I worked on while staying at the travel trailer. This is my Brandywine Falls Shawl. Knit in Debbie Bliss's Cashmerino Aran in Lt. Yellow. The yarn has been in my stash since the beginning of last year, and it felt wonderful to actually use yarn that I already had!

In other news, Cody and I have decided to let the girls go to the small Christian school that our church operates. I still have butterflies in my stomach about that decision, mainly because it's such a change (and I'm not a big fan of change) but also because I've always enjoyed homeschooling the girls.

Anyway, with the first day of school approaching, I've found myself sewing plain black skirts for both girls. I would show you pictures but they are skirts - black skirts - with elastic waists. IOW, they're boring!
