A New Dress for Baby

During my pregnancy, I didn't get out as much as I would have liked, however, I did manage to make a trip to our local antique store for a few things. Once there, I saw the sweetest little "pillowcase dress." Although, I think that this was made from a handkerchief or a napkin.



Anyway, I've been meaning to make up a daygown for wearing underneath, and since there is nothing like a deadline to get me motivated, I made an appointment at Olan Mills for Debra's 3 month pictures. For this Thursday! Yes, the procrastinator in me is rearing it's head. I did get the gown cut out tonight and hopefully, I'll have time to sew it up tomorrow evening.

I'll do a more thorough review after it's made up and give a sneak peak of her wearing the entire outfit.

This Quilt is Finished!

I received my quilt back from the quilt store about a month ago and I've put off finishing it. Kinda silly since all that was required was the binding. Anyway, I prefer a rounded corner on quilts (don't ask way, that's just the way I am).

Here you see a very high-tech method of making a rounded corner.




I finally finished sewing on the binding, which I did by hand, at 1:00 this morning.

I Ain't Happy

Blogger has decided that I am no longer following any blogs! 200 some odd blogs and now I get the extreme pleasure of adding them all back into Google Reader one at a time.
